COLLECTIVE CREATION WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENTS
February 14-16, 2011
This February, Theatre Smash is thrilled to offer Collective Creation workshops for students in Grades 6-12. An introduction to the concept of “The Actor Creator,” these workshops will allow your students to explore the process of devising. Using the body as the primary means of expression, they will be introduced to techniques such as mask and improvisation, and will experience how an ensemble works together to create a play. Led by acclaimed theatre creators and educators Ravi Jain and Dan Watson, the workshops will culminate in a showcase performance of student-devised work.
Workshop times:
Monday, February 14 9:00-11:30 AM
